I don't celebrate Christmas for spiritual reason, but I will still decorate for others. I love Tiffany's fine jewelry line, but truthfully speaking, the color they have used for so many years is breathtaking. Unbelievable attention you will get by just wearing this color on a night out. I see the same color schemes all the time, in today's modern home and it's time to branch out and try out something new. Christmas Decor comes in so many different styles and thinking outside the box will help you to achieve different looks for years to come. I have been decorating my home for years for Christmas and never thought to try a purple, red or pink tree. How cute they are!! Now looking back on it, I never went outside of the colors of my living and dining room area. I have learned that's it's very easy to incorporate your existing home decor with a new Christmas theme. Just make sure there is balance in the room by the time your done. Balance can range from the flooring coinciding with a painting or fireplace (giving the room a warm touch), sofa near to or has the same colors as the tree itself, and or the bulbs that are hanging on the tree. As long as your bulbs match with certain pieces in the room, your good to go!! If your a thrifty shopper like me, you can find similar items and replace the items shown here in this design to achieve almost the same result.
There is a contest on Olioboard (one of my favorite places on internet), sponsored by Home.com, called The Fabulously Festive Homes.com Design Contest. Judging will be by Courtney Whitmore of Pizzazzerie. Here is my entry... wish me luck!! I am going to need it. There are so many beautiful boards to choose from. :)
