Rustic Powder Room by The Woodlands Architects & Designers JAUREGUI Architecture Interiors Construction
Many people like to express their individuality and may pay an artist to paint a mural in their home or at a business they may own. A mural artist is pretty expensive and charges by the hour, therefore, the time spent on the painting, and the level of detail, can be timely and once again, can be costly.
Simple murals can be added to the smallest of walls and can be used in dining rooms, bathrooms, living rooms or, as is often the case- children's bedrooms. For example, a kid's room can be transformed into the 'fantasy world' of a forest or racing track, encouraging imaginative play and an awareness of art. The current trend for murals are here to stay, and I don't see it going any where no time soon.
I actually loved the idea of putting a mural on your closet door or windows, especially if they are double doors. Adding a beautiful outdoor scene to them, giving the room the zen you just may need to get more rest or just to clear your mind of every day stress. I may have to try that one day. I found some great murals that I wanted to share with you for inspiration.
