Diy Doilies Decor Lamp

For the crafty do it yourself, home decor enthusiast.

Items needed:

1. Doilies- Lace or Crochet
2. A balloon
3. Safety pin
4. A bowl
5. Light Kit
6. Wood Glue
7. Hair Dryer

Directions: To start, blow up the balloon and place it in/on top of the bowl to hold it in place. Saturate the doilies with wood glue until they are completely engulfed in glue, placing the doilies on the balloon in an overlapping format. You can do it like this, leaving the bottom have of the bottom of the balloon out or covering the whole balloon giving it more of circular or round result. Allow to dry on it's own or try a blow dryer on cool heat to dry it quicker. Once fully dried, pop the balloon and add the light kit, making sure you buy a light bulb that doesn't get hot once it's lit. Happy DIY'ing!!
